Manager of the JP Morgan Global Macro Opportunities fund, Benoit Lanctot, has stepped down from his role as of the start of this month, with Shrenick Shah and Josh Berelowitz taking the helm. Lanctot had been co-manager for this strategy for over two years since he and Berelowitz joined the team to support Shah.

Lanctot initially joined the firm as a convertible bonds analyst for the Multi-Asset Solutions team over a decade ago, before then moving to become a macro strategies fund manager in June 2017.
